AirHES harvests low-level clouds to deliver distilled water and zero-carbon power in a single step. Gravity drives the process, so no fuel, brine or heavy batteries are required.
Our innovative process leverages natural forces and advanced materials to efficiently capture and convert atmospheric resources:
High-level schematic. Detailed aerodynamics and controls are available in our tech brief on request.
A UHMWPE-reinforced kite climbs to 600–1800 m and holds station using live weather data.
A low-drag mesh on the kite surface coalesces cloud droplets into a continuous water flow.
Water travels down the tether pipe under gravity, forming a steady column to the ground station.
At ground level we store the distilled water and spin a micro-hydro turbine with the same flow, producing clean electricity.
What makes AirHES different from desalination, AWGs and solar-plus-storage:
One device delivers two products: drinking-grade water and renewable power.
Deploy where clouds form—deserts, islands, mountain villages, disaster zones.
Gravity replaces fuel and batteries; maintenance stays on the ground.
Few moving parts aloft, no fuel bills. Modelled payback < 12 months in eight climates.
No brine or pollution; minimal concrete footprint compared to traditional infrastructure.
Build systems from 10 m² to 10,000 m²; scale from households to entire communities.
